DR. SASILEKHA NAIR

Dr. Sasilekha Nair is a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer. She was born in Kerala and started to learn dance at a tender age of 5 yrs under the able guidance of Guru late Smt. Kamalakshi Amma, Parthasarathy Nritya Kalalayam, Changanassery, Kerala, who was the guru for many prominent theatrical artists from Kerala. She had performed in various cultural events and participated in different art related competitions during her academic years. She has secured distinction in Bharatanatyam examination. Her determination and constant hard work made her pursue dance after marriage. She had her training under Guru Smt. Charulatha Swaminathan, a disciple of Late Smt. Neela Krishnamoorthy, who is the sister of legend Dr Padma Subrahmanyam. Currently she practices under Vidushi Sneha Devanandan, a senior disciple of Bharata Shikharam Guru Padmini Ramachandran. With her talent and dedication Dr. Sasilekha Nair performed within the country and abroad.
